How to Apply
Centralized Application
Applicants may apply to the VCU School of Dentistry Doctor of Dental Surgery program through the American Association of Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS). AADSAS, a service of the American Dental Education Association, is an online centralized application service. Please review the ADEA AADSAS Application Instructions prior to beginning your application.
The majority of applicants who are invited to interview complete their application before Sept. 1.
VCU Application Requirements
A complete application to the VCU School of Dentistry Doctor of Dental Surgery program includes:
- VCU non-refundable application fee
- Verified application status from ADEA AADSAS
- Official DAT score (DAT score more than three years old at the time of application will not be considered)
- One committee letter OR three letters of recommendation (two from life science professors and one from a dentist)
- Additional letters of recommendation beyond the four that can be submitted through ADEA AADSAS can be emailed directly from the letter writer to denadmit@vcu.edu
