Dental Innovation Program
The Dental Innovation Program supports the development of commercial technologies emerging from the school of dentistry. It is intended to help faculty, residents and students progress their ideas from a laboratory or clinical concept to a proof of principle. The program will fund projects with commercialization potential and is not another source of research funding.

Commonwealth Research Commercialization Fund
The Commonwealth Research Commercialization Fund (CRCF) advances science- and technology-based research, development, and commercialization to drive economic growth in Virginia. CRCF funding is available to public and private institutions of higher education, private sector businesses, research institutes, federal labs, and political subdivisions.

The mission of the VCU Innovation Gateway is to foster a culture of innovation at the university and to protect and commercialize inventions created by the VCU research enterprise for the benefit of society.
